- Plan and implement instructional activities tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (LSB1).
- Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Staff Hours: 8:15 AM 11:45 AM
- Student Hours: 8:30 AM 11:30 AM

Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.We are currently seeking two Special Education Teachers (LSB1) to join our team for our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ESY program serves Pre-Kindergarten through 7th-grade students who are eligible for extended support during the summer months. This is an in-person teaching opportunity that will run from June 10, 2024, to July 3rd, 2024, with no classes held on June 19, 2024. Please note that there will be no classes on Fridays.
