    Are you a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our educational team in Alsip, IL. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being, helping them thrive in their educational journey.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of concern.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
    • Provide counseling and guidance to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
    • Assist in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, provide recommendations, and ensure effective support services.
    • Collaborate with community resources and agencies to provide additional support to students and families as needed.
    • Serve as a resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance and professional development on topics related to mental health, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
    • Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in the field of school psychology.

    Requirements:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
    • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
    • Proven experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting (preferably in a K-12 environment).
    • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
    • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
    • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using technology and educational software for assessment and data analysis.
