Isar Experts is a specialized recruitment agency with a focus on HR and payroll positions in Munich and the surrounding area. We are currently looking for a dedicated Payroll Team Leader (m/f/d) to join our team in a permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll for our client in the pharmaceutical industry, in cooperation with a small team and an external payroll provider. The internationally renowned company is located in the west of Munich.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently processing payroll for employees of the company in cooperation with a specialized external payroll service provider.
  • Reviewing internal processes and optimizing collaboration with the external service provider.
  • Managing a small team (with plans for growth) both professionally and disciplinarily.
  • Supporting, training, and developing team members.
  • Handling reporting and communication with external parties such as authorities, social security institutions, and tax offices.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations with the finance department.
  • Assisting with year-end closing activities and acting as a point of contact for social security and tax audits.
  • Maintaining and reviewing employee master data and movement data in the payroll system, including company pension plans, taxation of company cars, garnishments, and travel expense advances.
