We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing the culinary team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, including cooks and other kitchen staff
• Plan and develop menus that align with customer preferences and dietary restrictions
• Prepare and cook food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
• Oversee shift management, including scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
• Experience in a fastpaced kitchen environment, preferably in the food industry
• Excellent cooking skills with a focus on taste, presentation, and quality
• Proficient in kitchen management software and systems
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a highpressure setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We offer competitive pay based on experience.


Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Supplemental pay types:

• Monday to Friday
