Employee in the field of wastewater management
(Specialist for Wastewater Technology) (m/f/d)
The City Utilities Schlüchtern is responsible for the water supply and wastewater management of the city of Schlüchtern.

We operate a central wastewater treatment plant for 27,500+ inhabitants, as well as 33 special structures with 180+ km of sewer network, and are looking for a specialist for wastewater technology (m/f/d) for the wastewater management department.


Responsibilities:
Process-related supervision of wastewater treatment at the central wastewater treatment plant
Operation and monitoring of wastewater facilities, sewers, and pumping stations, including process data recording and processing
Maintenance and repair of pumps, gears, pipelines, and other equipment in the wastewater treatment plant
General laboratory work and determination of operational and chemical-biological parameters
Assuming regular on-call duties and weekend services
Other tasks related to wastewater management


Your Profile:


You have completed vocational training as a specialist for wastewater technology (m/f/d) or a comparable education in the field of waste management and disposal.

Alternatively, you have completed training in the electrical or metal trade and are willing to further educate yourself as a wastewater technician (m/f/d).

You have a Class B driver's license and the ability to work in shafts and confined spaces.
Desirable is relevant professional experience in wastewater management and a secure handling
