Description

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications.

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
• Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and punches
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions
• Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Qualifications:
• Previous experience operating press brake machines is required
• Familiarity with other metalworking equipment such as stamping presses, hand tools, CNC machines, lathes, laser cutting machines is a plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in programming press brake machines is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
