Accentuate Staffing is working with a growing manufacturer in the Clayton, NC area who is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering.

This role involves the strategic development and execution of capital plans aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and expanding production capacity for the company's' diverse product portfolio.

This position entails meticulous oversight of manufacturing processes to optimize costs, ensuring products align with design specifications, manufacturing standards, and cost targets.

Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer is tasked with establishing operational procedures across various departments to ensure cost-effective, standardized practices. Collaboration within multi-disciplinary project teams is essential to achieve objectives concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate the development and execution of the capital plan by providing engineering insights into methods, estimations, and technology relevant to manufacturing requirements.

Manage and control approved expenditure levels effectively.
Contribute to the enhancement of systemic tools, including ERP and other designated business tools. Drive the development, implementation, and training associated with these business applications.
Oversee the continuous review of existing systems/methods and propose new/revised systems to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Analyze data to assess departmental progress toward goals and objectives.
Ensure the provision of the required level of service in the realm of manufacturing engineering for the facility.

Coordinate and review technical work, assist in policy development, and establish standards and procedures for various departments across the organization.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project teams to collectively address product issues related to manufacturability and quality.
Develop comprehensive and accurate technical documentation for products, adhering to procedures and internal standards.

Collaborate with industrial designers, procurement, and manufacturing teams to provide necessary documentation and information for a successful product launch into full production.

Share engineering knowledge and expertise with other departments within the organization.
Stay informed on industry standards in manufacturing, materials, technology, and engineering practices.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
University Degree in Engineering – Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, or equivalent experience
3-9 years of engineering experience in product design/implementation within a manufacturing environment (preferably in consumer goods)
Knowledge and experience with various manufacturing processes and materials (e.g., sheet metal, plastic, wood, foam)
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in 3D modeling software and detail design skills (Solidworks preferred)
Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both in diverse multidisciplinary team environments and independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Potential for domestic and international travel as needed for projects.
