Job Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting tasks and oversee fiscal management.
Maintain and update the general ledger, handle monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, manage fixed asset schedules, and depreciation.
Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax returns, year-end filings, W2's, and 1099's.

Requirements:

Proficient in QuickBooks, capable of providing training and resolving client issues with the software.
Supervisory tasks, including reviewing the work of junior accountants for accuracy.
Effective communication with clients and colleagues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Independence in decision-making and timeliness in execution.
Educational Background & Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with relevant coursework. CPA certification is a bonus. Minimum 3 years of similar role experience. Familiarity with individual and business tax preparation is advantageous.
Technology & Other Skills: Proficiency in accounting principles, methods, and procedures. Experience with Microsoft Suite and diverse accounting software.
