- Manage cash management tools weekly as assigned.
- Serve as backup for remote deposits.
- Assist Controller with credit balance refunds forpatients as needed.
- Record monthly patient revenue recognition using billingpartner reports.
- Assist the Controller in ensuring that the data in thegeneral ledger is posted timely and accurately.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and accountreconciliations according to internal schedules.
- Reconcile the organization's bank accounts.
- Ensure that department heads, managers and other staffreceive regular financial reporting to support their budgeting and financialmanagement responsibilities.
- Serve as Finance resource in grant administration teamand prepare monthly release from restrictions entries for review/approval bythe Controller.
- Liaison to Development Department. Manage monthlyreconciliation of donation revenue and assist with the development andmonitoring of budgets needed for funding opportunities.
- Assist the Controller and CFO with the annual budgetpreparation.
- Coordinate information requests and material preparationfor external auditors.
- Assist Controller with other reporting as needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.
- Required:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- - 5 years experience inaccounting and financial management required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
- Advanced computer skills, including competency inMicrosoft Office software, affiliate email, Internet, patient managementsystems and financial accounting software systems. Experience with BlackbaudFinancial Edge preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills thatenable work in a collaborative and multifaceted team environment.
- Ability to write clear, persuasive, and informativereports, correspondence, and procedural instructions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret concrete and abstractdata, business and professional journals, technical procedures, financialreports, and applicable government laws and regulations.
