Description
Responsibilities:
- Travel to different locations to perform moving and junk removal services, including loading, transporting, and unloading items.
- Safely pack and secure items for transportation to prevent damage.
- Assist clients with moving heavy furniture, appliances, and other belongings.
- Sort and dispose of junk and unwanted items in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Operate moving equipment, such as dollies, hand trucks, and moving blankets.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their moving and junk removal needs.
- Provide estimates and quotes for moving and junk removal projects.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations while working on job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
- Keep moving and junk removal equipment wellmaintained and organized.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in moving or junk removal preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation (preferably a truck or van) to travel to job sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
