Senior Systems Analyst (SQL, Micro Services, DevOps)
Position Type: W2 Contract
End-Client: State Department (Ohio)
Columbus, OH

Looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join the dynamic IT team of our end-client. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in SQL, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. This role involves analyzing system requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of IT systems to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
SQL Management: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support application functionality.
Microservices: Architect, develop, and maintain microservices to ensure scalable and efficient system performance.
DevOps Practices: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and monitor system performance to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective IT solutions that meet business needs.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and promote best practices within the team.
System Integration: Oversee the integration of various systems and ensure seamless data flow and communication between applications.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in systems analysis, SQL, microservices, and DevOps.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
