VDM Metals is part of the Spanish Acerinox Group and produces at five locations in Germany (Unna, Duisburg, Altena, Siegen, and Werdohl) and operates two plants in the USA (Florham Park and Reno).

For our SCM department at the Werdohl location, we are currently seeking a:

Trainee Supply Chain Management (m|w|d)

Responsibilities:

Processing inquiries and coordination orders
Determining delivery dates in the integrated planning system
Inventory management considering inventory goals and limits
Disposition of raw materials
Creating, documenting, and scheduling production orders
Planning necessary capacities and production processes within the production planning framework
Coordinating planning results with involved departments
Maintaining master data in the ERP system
Coordinating and planning externally commissioned production steps
Creating evaluations for the SCM department
Participating in optimization projects within SCM

Profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field
Alternatively, you have completed a vocational training
