- Responsible for implementing, testing, maintaining, and operating Sales and Marketing systems.
- Analyze business and technical processes to develop flows and triggers for automation.
- Customize and extend the Salesforce Platform (Sales/Service Cloud) using low-code tools, and programming languages such as JavaScript (Lightning Web Components) and Apex, when the solution involves more complex logic or user interfaces.
- Deliver solutions that are performant, extendable, and scalable in a cloud environment.
- Lead the design, test, implementation, and deployment of APIs and integration projects via Mulesoft.
- Assist with data modeling and perform data mapping to effectively manage data migrations for new customers.
- Automate marketing business use cases using REST APIs, SDKs and AMPScript.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
- Partner with Salesforce, Mulesoft and other partners to troubleshoot complex issues and identify a solution, as applicable.
- Review release notes for upcoming platform enhancements, fixes and deprecation of features to ensure compatibility.
- Understand the organizational landscape and end-user needs to configure systems and design processes for optimal experiences.
- Maintain knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices in technology and business networks.
- Recommend innovative solutions that increase efficiencies or add new capabilities to improve experiences and overall satisfaction.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and establish a trusted relationship with business partners and communities.
- Work closely with business partners to define requirements, understand source systems, and business processes that impact the company's key data.
- Assist with special projects as needed and as time permits
- Troubleshoot problems, identifies possible solutions, and resolves accordingly.
- Provide effective support to all levels of the company for products the team is responsible for delivering and maintaining.
- BS or BA degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum three years of experience working as a functional analyst, Salesforce administrator or one year as a Systems Engineer
- Experience with the Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud (Account Engagement/Pardot)
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce products
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce objects and architecture
- Experience in managing Salesforce Service Requests
- SQL, JavaScript and Apex, AMPScript programming experience preferred
- Learning and innovation agility, to adapt with the speed at which Salesforce delivers new features
- Familiarity with unit testing, design patterns and CI/CD pipelines
- Capacity to analyze and understand business needs and translate into technical requirements
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving ability with focus on quality and urgency
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; organization and team skills
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Ability to provide quality customer service
