About the Role

As Passport's logistics grow increasingly complex, the Daily Operations team is integral in ensuring successful delivery and overseeing all the moving pieces - from pickups at our 3PL partners to final mile delivery and everything in between.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operation of one of our consolidation centers.

You'll be a key part of the Daily Operations team by being our boots on the ground, helping with continuous improvement efforts across our consolidation network, working hand in hand with cross-functional teams, and sustaining the key metrics and insights to support future growth.

In this position, you will:

• Work on site 5 days a week, with a possibility of some weekend coverage when needed (especially during Q4)
• Ensure successful receipt, processing, and dispatch of Passport shipments
• Some company paid travel is possible, up to 10%
• Act as liaison between consolidation center, vendor operations, and various corporate teams
• Work with onsite vendors to communicate and resolve issues proactively as well as reactively
• Make effective decisions regarding operational processes and priorities
• Communicate with leaders and team members to keep operations aligned with business requirements and goals
• Aid in documentation creation, including SOPs and performance scorecards
• Measure site performance and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Support continuous improvement that enhances processes and efficiency
• Provide support in making improvements to procedures, workflow, and organizational processes, including performance management and conflict resolution
• Provide assistance in resolving disputes related to deliverables, service failures, payments, and overall vendor performance

You have many of the following:

• 2+ years of experience in an operations supervisor role or similar.
• 2+ years of experience training and providing feedback to employees.
• Strong understanding of endtoend parcel logistics concepts.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
• People person. People tend to like you and you gain their favor quickly.
• Great time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• A reputation as a gogetter. You find a solution to every problem that is thrown at you and (1) own your work (2) hold your teammates accountable for results. You call it like you see it and have good instincts.
• A fast pace We talk in terms of days, not quarters. You have the ability to work in an often ambiguous, and constantly evolving environment.
• You're willing to put in the time to learn, and are dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Able to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with G Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and/or Zendesk.
• You call it like you see it, and quickly solve problems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Conversational Spanish is a plus, but not required.
