About the Position:
The Confidential Administrative Support II reports to the Compliance Manager and provides confidential professional administrative support and assists with varied complex duties, tasks and projects involving a full range of policy and administrative issues confronting the University.
Serves as first point of contact for the Compliance Manager with legal counsel and Information technology staff for items pertaining to legal holds, settlements agreements and records requests.
Tasks include collecting, compiling, researching, and analyzing data; responding to requests for information; drafting documents, complex confidential reports and correspondence; coordinating settlement and resolution of claims; facilitation and managing documents; and conducting policy and factual research; making recommendations as appropriate to management.
Participates in long range strategic planning. Supports as necessary unemployment claims review and Coronavirus claims processing.Requires the ability to work independently, initiative, precision, excellent organizational skills, careful coordination, discretion, and interaction with a wide variety of public and private sector contacts, including faculty, staff and students of the campus, the Chancellor's Office, other California State University campuses, as well as systemwide offices and representatives, government officials, attorneys, and the public.
The work is specialized and requires access to a variety of sources of sensitive and confidential information, including but not limited to human resources and academic personnel records; labor issues; investigations; litigation strategy; student records; personnel matters; and progress/status reports on campus programs and projects.
Work assignments require in-depth knowledge of the functions of the office as related to the overall campus and system wide environment.

A Valid California Driver's License.
Special Working Conditions
Position requires the use of a state vehicle to transport to events and visit schools and other outside constituents at variable hours.
