Looking to hire an experienced asbestos abatement supervisor. The position will be working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If you are looking to work for a great company then look no further

Must be licensed in NH, ME, MA or able to get your license within two-weeks of hire (if you are already certified in another state)


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supervises and directs the activities of abatement personnel
  • Participates in the abatement activities
  • Reviews job scope and inspect work site for local, state and federal compliance
  • Fills out daily paperwork correctly (time sheets)
  • Reports to office with any concerns or issues

Essential Functions:


  • Work off ladders, lifts or scaffolding and with mechanical equipment as needed
  • Operate hand tools, power tools
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Focused on SAFETY at all times
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, hardworking and motivated
  • Strong team player with positive attitude

Travel:


  • Travel primarily within, but NOT limited to, New England job site locations

Education & Experience:


  • Minimum of 1 year of asbestos abatement required
  • Experience with construction hand tools required
  • Experience working outside during all seasons and in allweather required
  • Able to be at job site on time; job sites are generally located within 1 hour of headquarters
  • Passing of preemployment postoffer physical
  • Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly is required
  • OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred

Foot Coordination:

You need to be able to coordinate movements of your hands and feet in order to clean up job sites.


  • Coordination: On busy construction sites, you must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers.
  • Attendance: you must be able to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function
  • Working Conditions: ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres
  • PPE: Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA required medical surveillance programs as necessary
  • Lifting: Able to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and talk or hear.
  • Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders.
  • The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.
  • Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
