Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team.

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, cash flow projections, variance analysis, and providing insights and recommendations to management
  • Manage P/R (via Third Party), A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Job Costs
  • Develop ad hoc reporting as required
  • Coordinate the yearend audit process and liaise with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
  • Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and monthend close processes

Skills & Requirements:

  • College degree (BA or BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • 10 years experiance in Skill Nursing Home Healthcare
  • CPA License (preferred)
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Dynamic Arrays, Dashboards)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Previous experience in public accounting is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation accurately
  • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles
