- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical treatments as required.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the client, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other activities as needed.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Valid and current state nursing license.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and use good judgment in decision-making.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as required.
