Tea House Spa has been in operation for decades with our spa overlooking a bamboo garden over 70 years old.

We have a dedicated and lovely staff we are proud of and would love to add more to our team to accommodate our thriving business.


For over 20 years, the Tea House spa has offered locals and visitors a getaway for relaxation, refuge, and rejuvenation among a historic Japanese bamboo groove found tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life.

We are passionate about providing clients with a rejuvenating experience they can count on as part of their regular self-care regime.

We are seeking to add a kind and hard working individual.


General Front Desk Duties:


  • Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for clients during checkin and check out.
  • Sales; services and products. Knowledge of both, and rebooking opportunities.
  • Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  • Answer telephones / Book appointments; consult callers about their specific needs.
  • Process client payments and be responsible for shiftend cash drawer balances.
  • Prepare and serve Tea.
  • Washing dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and professional spa environment; following established cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all company contacts.
  • Laundry inventory and cycles.
  • Massage and Tub room turn over, including disinfecting and cleaning protocols to prevent COVID1
  • Accurate record keeping for appointments, payments, scheduling, tub testing, and facility information.
  • Knowledge of facility systems.
  • Follow Shift specific duties for spa appointments, and actively partake in accountability for cleaning and business flow.

Typical time spent during your shift:

50% of your time will be spent cleaning, disinfecting, resetting rooms, restocking supplies, and testing water quality.

  • You understand basic scientific methods ( for balancing water quality).
  • You are not intimidated by basic problem solving for saunas, tubs, software, heaters, and other equipment.
  • You enjoy moving around and being active. This is not a job that is stationary.
  • You are reliable and come to work on time.
  • You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
  • You have reliable transportation and a functioning smartphone.
