Division of Multilingual Learners Global Leaders Academy Program - Student Support Staff
Four positions available.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
New York State Education Department Certified Teacher,

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Preferences will be given to:
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Per session personnel will perform one or more of the following tasks under the direction of a central DML Director of Career Readiness and the facilitators of the Global Leaders Academy Program.
Serve as a thought-partner alongside program facilitates to develop and implement program curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Serve as support staff during all program sessions including visits to UN Missions to the United Nations and other related organizations.
Serve as Chaperone during all external visits.
Support students with project design, evaluation, and presentation.
Provide a safe, and welcome environment for students.
Develop a positive, and meaningful relationship with students.
Advocate for students' needs, and provide feedback for future program development.
Provide translation support for students where needed.
WORK SCHEDULE:
July 8, August 16, 2024. Sessions will vary according to assignment and funding availability. Hours up to but not limited to 20 hours per week. Additional hours granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.

SALARY:
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
