JOB SUMMARY:


Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for securing and providing appropriate medical and/or behavioral business information to/from patient families and funding sources.

Interprets, identifies, communicates, and documents this information by way of:
registration and scheduling for patient services, in a team environment. Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent

High School Diploma plus 1 year of experience or Associate's Degree in lieu of 1 year of experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree

1 Year of Experience

1 Year of Healthcare Experience

Experience with Epic or Other EMR systems

Experience with payment collection efforts

**The expected hiring range for this position is $20.96 to $28.81
