- Design and conduct complex FEA simulations on a variety of mechanical components and systems
• Build, develop and implement advanced simulation models and algorithms
• Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify areas for improvement and make design recommendations
• Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior and meet project requirements
• Mentor and guide junior FEA engineers, as needed
• Contribute to the development of FEA best practices and standards within the organization
• Perform reviews of technical analysis and documentation of other engineers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in conducting FEA simulations
• Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis
• Advanced proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN
• Excellent ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in simulation processes and practices. -
