Description

The Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis is a public administration with around 1,300 employees, which sees itself as a modern service company for its approximately inhabitants.

We are currently looking for a
IT System Administrator (m/f/d) to join our IT Service/Archive team in Boulder.

The IT Service/Archive department is responsible for providing IT services to all departments of the county administration.

In a complex IT structure with two redundant data centers, we manage around 1,200 IT workstations at various locations and with several hundred software solutions.

Approximately 700 of these are connected via VPN as home offices or mobile workstations.

The IT department is autonomously organized and currently consists of 26 employees. In some areas of responsibility, we work together with external municipal and private data centers and service providers. This also includes access to higher-level networks of the state and federal government.
