Description

Currently StaffBright is seeking a strong a Mechanical Engineer who is ready to contribute their expertise to an innovative engineering solutions team in the Adrian, MI area.

What You Will Be Doing

Assisting the Equipment Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineering Lead in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engineering and design products.
Contributing to continuous improvement efforts and efficiency optimization studies.
Capability to conduct and participate in design reviews, whether on-site or at customer premises.
Conducting and meticulously documenting calculations to underpin design and facilitate new product development.
Producing drawings, schematics, and diagrams in alignment with relevant standards.
Establishing and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs).

What We Need From You

BSME from a 4+ year accredited university
3+ years working experience as a Mechanical / Design / Applications Engineer
Experience using Solidworks to generate 3D models and 2D drawings

All-Star Skillset

Experience with FEA simulation tools related to product design and/or electro-mechanical systems
Experience performing kinematic studies and motion simulation
Experience performing tolerance stacks and analyzing results
