- Providing strategic leadership and direction for the health and safety consulting practice.
- Driving and implementing strategy for the EHS practice group's performance and growth at a national level.
- Collaborating closely with other members of the firm, listening to the client's needs, and developing solutions to meet their needs.
- Overseeing the delivery of consulting services, including risk assessments, compliance audits, training programs, and incident investigations.
- Working with the team to develop and implement innovative solutions to address complex health and safety challenges.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the continued excellence of our services.
- Collaborating with other departments within the firm to leverage expertise and resources for optimal client outcomes.
- Participating in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking events.
- Tracking project performance, profitability, schedule, and ensuring the team has the right resources to complete client work.
- Establishing, building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Conducting internal and external business development activities for EHS services while partnering with other business units to cross-sell applicable Braun Intertec services to new and existing clients.
- Performing technical work and supporting project deliverables on a variety of EHS projects including:
- Asbestos, lead, PCB, and other regulated materials assessments;
- Indoor air quality assessments (mold, VOCs, CO, CO2, etc.)
- Employee exposure assessments;
- Noise dosimetry and sounds pressure level surveys;
- Chemical exposure assessments;
- Ventilation studies;
- Various assessments including PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, heat stress, etc.
- Safety training and audits/reviews.
- BS degree or higher in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Public Health, Environmental Science, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- years of experience in health and safety consulting, with a proven track record of team leadership and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff.
