Job Description

Kforce is currently looking for an Accountant (Settlements) in Owings Mills, MD. If you enjoy diving into financial records, preparing budgets, and motivating employees, this might be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage monthly financial record closing and month-end information posting.
Prepare and recommend operating and personnel budgets, monitoring spending and recommending variances as needed.
Train, evaluate, and develop employees to enhance their performance.
Address performance issues and make personnel action recommendations.
Motivate and reward employees, including salary increases and bonuses.

Requirements

High proficiency in Excel with strong data manipulation and advanced formula skills.
Strong accounting skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Full-cycle, high-volume experience is a plus.
