- Lead the merchandising, taxonomy, filters, cross-sells, and sorting strategies for website categories including delivering category performance insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage item setup and product information accuracy for the Christopher & Banks website.
- Engage the customer by writing product descriptions on the Christopher & Banks website, articulating key features and benefits to increase conversion while delivering content in the Christopher & Banks brand voice.
- Attach all product photography to items, and partner with the Photography team, requesting and publishing all product images.
- Merchandise products for promotional campaigns. Manage the sale and clearance categories by proofing regularly to ensure appropriate products are displayed.
- Execute the visual merchandising strategy for curated website collections, digital catalogs, and special landing pages.
- Work with internal partners to optimize SEO including setup of search, redirects, synonyms, and filter functionality and provide reporting on results.
- Set up promotion codes and private label credit card campaigns; assist with website pricing and data entry in digital platforms.
- Work with Senior Web Developer for site updates and refreshes, including providing links and analytics for tracking and proof updates for accuracy.
- Make recommendations to improve the customer experience by understanding the site path to purchase, investigating questions, troubleshooting challenges, and developing resolutions to issues.
- Occasionally perform on-call or weekend duties as needed.
- Complete other projects, initiatives, and duties as assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years' experience working in an E-Commerce operations role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience using various digital platforms, and technology, and learning new systems.
- Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, v-lookup functions, analysis, etc.)
- Experience identifying opportunities and influencing based on reviewing data sets.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Experience cross-functionally partnering with internal and external teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems.
- Strong work ethic with a highly productive, proactive, flexible approach to daily work.

Job DescriptionOVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Specialist has an integral role in supporting the Christopher & Banks team. This individual is responsible for the overall item setup, site merchandising, and on-site search capabilities for the Christopher & Banks website. This person will work cross-functionally with Merchants, Creative, and IT Teams to achieve business strategies and identify opportunities. The E-Commerce Specialist will update the website merchandising frequently to support new products, promotions, and merchant strategies. In addition, this individual will use website data, customer feedback, and industry best practices to identify areas of opportunity. Plus, the E-Commerce Specialist will drive on-site search experiences for users through product content and search tool configuration.
