- Collaborate with the project superintendent to plan and schedule construction activities, ensuring timely completion of tenant improvement projects.
- Assist in the coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.
- Assist in the management of project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory management.
- Support the superintendent in resolving construction-related challenges and conflicts, utilizing problem-solving skills and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on tenant improvement projects.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations related to tenant improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office suite.
