We're seeking a friendly and proactive individual who can cultivate a welcoming atmosphere, especially for students who are embarking on their first professional experience.
In addition to student support, this role extends to assisting retirees with post-retirement benefits, overseeing our applicant tracking system, assisting the benefit coordinator, onboarding temporary staff and volunteers, and coordinating various departmental activities and events. As the frontline representative of our HR department, the position requires the ability to thrive amidst interruptions while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Ideal candidates will bring a blend of HR experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must, with preference given to those familiar with Colleague HRIS. We offer competitive hourly wages ranging from $18 to $20 per hour (DOQ), along with comprehensive college benefits including generous paid time off, parental leave, and tuition remission for you and your dependents The standard schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
