Description
Growing Commercial Door and Millwork shop is looking for an experienced, motivated and detail - oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Contract Coordination: Preparing Submittal packages, schedules, change proposals, requisitions, lien waivers and other contract documents as required
- Supervise purchasing of job materials to fit cost and schedule parameters.
- Ensure Door and Hardware product data is properly detailed and submitted for approval.
- Track submittal packages for timely approval and evaluate cost impacts from changes.
- Prepare Shop and Shipping orders and coordinate with our shop and the jobsite.
- Attend weekly job meetings and preform site visits as required.
- Document how site conditions affect materials and schedule.
- Represent Wayland in a professional manner with clients and owners.
- Prepare, maintain and submit asbuilt records throughout the project.
- Assist with marketing and estimating as needed.
- Proficiency with major scheduling software, MS EXCEL, WORD and ADOBE.
- Possession of a general understanding of the construction contracting business including standard AIA forms and CSI Specifications.
- General ability to read construction drawings
- Desire to build relationships and develop accounts based on service, expertise, follow though and results.
Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
