Description

Growing Commercial Door and Millwork shop is looking for an experienced, motivated and detail - oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Contract Coordination: Preparing Submittal packages, schedules, change proposals, requisitions, lien waivers and other contract documents as required
  • Supervise purchasing of job materials to fit cost and schedule parameters.
  • Ensure Door and Hardware product data is properly detailed and submitted for approval.
  • Track submittal packages for timely approval and evaluate cost impacts from changes.
  • Prepare Shop and Shipping orders and coordinate with our shop and the jobsite.
  • Attend weekly job meetings and preform site visits as required.
  • Document how site conditions affect materials and schedule.
  • Represent Wayland in a professional manner with clients and owners.
  • Prepare, maintain and submit asbuilt records throughout the project.
  • Assist with marketing and estimating as needed.
Required qualifications and skillset

  • Proficiency with major scheduling software, MS EXCEL, WORD and ADOBE.
  • Possession of a general understanding of the construction contracting business including standard AIA forms and CSI Specifications.
  • General ability to read construction drawings
  • Desire to build relationships and develop accounts based on service, expertise, follow though and results.

Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
