    We're looking for someone who is willing to learn from us, is detail oriented and is looking for a great opportunity for a long term career. This is an entry level position.

    FIELD ASSISTANT

    Garcia Roofing is looking for a Field Assistant to join our team. Your responsibility will be to learn how to manage all aspects of assigned projects while providing outstanding customer service. Maintaining excellent communication, a positive attitude and good work ethic are all critical parts of this role.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

    • Climbing ladders and walking roofs to inspect roofs.
    • Supervise and coordinate multiple production crews.
    • Strong involvement in scope of work from start to finish.
    • Utilize company programs to document job progression
    • Complete job documents, inspections, and reports.
    • Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
    • Communicate with the customer and managers on job progress and safety risks.
    • Perform quality inspections for all work performed on the jobsite.
    • Identify crews that don't comply with our safety, health, and environmental standards.
    • Work closely with the production team regarding material and work orders.
    • Comply with the safety policies of the company and OSHA standards and regulations.
    • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the jobsite.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
    • Ability to use a ladder and safely access the roof.
    • Physical stamina of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
    • Ability to lift and move 50 plus pounds.
    • Operate equipment and tools safely.
    • Perform manual labor in extreme temperatures and weather conditions when required.
    • Pass drug screen, background check and driving record check.
    • Strong computer and technology skills are preferred.
    • Ability to travel to different branch locations.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:

    • Work Schedule: (Full time)
      • Monday - Friday
      • 7 AM to 4 PM
      • After hours and weekends depending on the workload.
