    Description

    Amotec Inc. is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer Intern to assist our client's engineering team for a 3-6 month project. This position involves working closely with Quality Engineers to manage and improve our quality assurance processes, particularly focusing on part discrepancies and valve failures. This role is ideal for interns or recent graduates with an engineering background who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist Quality Engineers in reviewing part discrepancies and analyzing failure reports on valves.
    • Review and help manage work orders, and assist in reinstating products back into production.
    • Generate and assemble necessary documentation to support First Article Test Reports (FAIRs), including creating AS9102 forms based on individual drawing requirements.
    • Work from complex blueprints, process sheets, and various orders (supplier and customer) including inspection plans and instructions.
    • Collaborate with the Inspection team to perform inspections required to complete the FAIR package.
    • Utilize FAIR software to generate FAIR packages meeting AS9102 requirements.
    • Manage and organize a wide array of documentation and physical parts essential for project completion.

    Requirements:

    • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Engineering.
    • Strong administrative skills and experience with document control in a quality context.
    • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills are a plus.
    • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
    • Proficient in using technical documentation and blueprints.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Legal right to work in the job location.

    Goals:

    • The intern will work on-site with the Dublin quality, engineering, and operations teams.
    • Gain comprehensive experience in quality engineering processes.
    • Access specific software and tools essential for quality assurance tasks.
    • Contribute to the final approval of FAIRs, enhancing product quality and compliance.
