Description
Title insurance agency seeking detail-oriented individual to review title abstracts and prepare title reports/commitments for real estate transactions.

You will play an important role in ensuring that buyers are buying real property that is legally clean and marketable.

Experience in real estate law or title field preferred but not required. Work is ON-SITE in Brooklyn (two blocks from the N train station).


Duties and Responisibilities include:

  • Processing and ordering searches, title abstracts and land surveys,
  • Reviewing legal documents such as deed, mortgages, satisfactions, and documents from probate and foreclosure proceedings
  • Reviewing and reading land surveys and tax maps
  • Accurately type and compile the title reports to send to attorneys
  • Preparing and reviewing closing packages and recording documents.

Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
