$51,384 – $69,072 Annually
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Fiscal Analyst 3 position on the Project Support & Receivables (PS&R) team of the Accounting and Financial Services (AFS) Division in Olympia, WA.
This position involves performing general and specialized financial analysis duties, adhering to Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP), state and federal regulations, and WSDOT guidelines.
The role supports WSDOT's mission by providing essential financial work for meeting fiduciary responsibilities.Responsibilities include senior-level financial monitoring, analysis of accounting data, consultation on complex financial scenarios, ensuring compliance with federal grants and Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) regulations, preparing accounting statements and reports, managing work orders and agreements, processing expenditure transfers, and reconciling accounts.
The role also involves actively resolving unbilled issues and past-due accounts receivable in collaboration with agreement managers and program staff.
