    The Opportunity


    We are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join our team Te ideal individual will think strategically across our business to secure bookings and build impactful relationships with our travel agency community and other partnerships.


    Travel Opportunities:
    It's estimated that this position will require ~30% travel, primarily within the US as well as internationally on occasion.

    Location:
    Western US- Remote

    What you will be doing:
    Deepen relationships with existing travel agency partners to increase bookings from returning as well as new clients. Tasks include trainings (webinars and in-person), targeted marketing efforts to their databases, events, outbound calling and follow-up, etc.
    Develop a strategic approach to prioritize and engage with existing (and potentially new) high value travel agencies.

    Identify new programs and marketing vehicles that grow awareness of TCS products to both travel agencies and their high net worth clients.

    Maintain accurate campaign and lead management utilizing SalesForce, the company's CRM.
    Meet with prospective guests in-person as needed, discussing trips and using influence management skills to help convert prospects into bookings
    Monitor progress to goal through monthly analytics and reporting.
    Manage team budget and measure ROI on past initiatives.

    Provide Sales, BD team and Marketing with regular updates on what's working well, what challenges exist, and proposed plan to address them.

    Learn about and stay updated on all TCS products and how we operate and develop strong relationships across all departments.

    What we are looking for:


    5+ years business development or outside sales experience selling high-value luxury services/products (travel experience is highly preferred but not required).

    Personal passion around experiential travel is critical.
    Demonstrated ability to use relationship-based selling skills to deepen partnerships and develop strong relationships with colleagues.
    Superior planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
    A strong ability to work autonomously.
    Existing relationships with luxury travel agencies highly preferred.
    Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to individuals and groups.
    Proficiency in using Salesforce, and MS Office (in particular, PowerPoint).
    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures calmly and professionally
    Ability to adapt in dynamic situations and support colleagues, as needed.
