SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Manages the overall operations of the facility under direction of the Regional Vice President of Operations and in conformance with ASC policy and procedures.
• Enforces rules and regulations relative to health care and safety of residents, and to the protection of their personal and property rights.
• Ensures compliance in accordance with State and Federal Department of Health regulations.
• Plans, organizes, and directs these responsibilities delegated by the governing body.
• Maintains ongoing liaison among the governing body, medical and nursing staffs, and other professional and supervisory staff of the facility.
• Actively develops resident census through business and health care contacts.
• Designates department heads to assume administrative functions and be responsible as outlined in their respective job descriptions.
• Management duties including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training and developing, coaching and counseling, and terminating department staff, as deemed necessary
• Monitor each department's activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback and assist, observe, coach, and discipline, as needed.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must be a licensed administrator as required by the State.
• Must have experience in the health, human services, and/or community services field

Education:
Preferred

• Licensed Position or better in xxProvider Trust LIc Verification
