Shift - 7:00am to 7:30 pm

Experience required: 1-year behavioral health experience required

First time travelers accepted (Y/N): are accepted

Facility location - 71 Haynes Street Manchester, CT 06040


Description:
Mental Health Diagnosis with co-morbidities of addiction. May have wound care, CPAP, Foley's, Diabetics. If CPI certified please provide a copy of the Blue certification card. If not, we can train. Will also have Mandatory Health Stream courses assigned.


Qualifications:

• RN License
• BLS Certification
• CPI Certification
• Experience in psychiatric care
• Knowledge of behavioral health and psychiatry
• Proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
• Strong patient care skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
• Utilize expertise in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding to deliver highquality patient care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on their needs.
• Utilize EMR and EHR systems to accurately document patient information and treatment plans.

Manchester is also a very historical area with a lot of history including Gillette's castle which sits up high in the mountains on a cliff that overlooks the Connecticut River. 45 mins to New Haven which is another great city (Yale New Haven) 2.5 hours outside of New York City 1.5 hours to Boston.
