Site Director
The Math Agency's mission is to close educational gaps in math. Over the last several years, we've shown that it is possible to
double
how quickly students learn, even in some of the most disadvantaged schools in the state of Washington.
Our partner schools have consistently become some of the highest performing schools in the entire state in terms of math growth as measured via state standardized tests.
We are looking for a site-director to help bring our program to several new schools.You'll be joining a small but diverse team that has experience in teaching, math intervention, data science, software engineering, and a strong track record in building successful organizations from the ground up.
This position's core responsibility is to ensure program success (student growth) at our partner schoolsThis includes successfully doing:
Program management:
you'll be in charge of all aspects of our program at our partner schools. This includes program planning, directing our coaching sessions, performing data analysis, and doing family engagement.
Coach recruiting and management:
making sure that our schools' volunteer coaches are successfully accelerating students' academic growth.
Relationship building with schools:
developing a strong, collaborative relationship with principals, teachers, and other school members.
Anything else needed to help close gaps at our partner schools
You're a good fit if you have:
Relevant experience in accelerating academic growth for students
A willingness to use data to drive decisions
Self-motivation and an attention to detail
A team-focused mindset and strong collaboration skills
