ClarkLindsey, East Central Illinois's award-winning retirement community, is looking to expand our dining service team.


Assist with daily high-quality meal service, dining room set-up and tear down, meal prep, desserts, beverages, and other items as needed.

Additional responsibilities include set up and sanitization of designated working areas, kitchen stocking and upkeep, sanitizing glassware, dishes and silverware, and similar tasks.

This is not a full time position. A variety of shifts are available. Please refer to the job posting for specific shifts and times.

Job Requirements:


Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed).

We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
  • Must practice proper hand hygiene, food handling procedures, and personal hygiene at all times.
  • Must be willing to take the temperatures of hot and cold food prior to service to ensure temperatures are within standards.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and or carry such weight a minimum distance of 100 feet.
  • Must be able to pull a loaded cart a minimum distance of 300 feet.
  • Must possess sight/hearing so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
  • Must abide by ClarkLindsey's HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
