Description

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
• Take food and drink orders from guests
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have left
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operation

Experience:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong guest relations and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Knowledge of phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
