Introduction:

This is a position specific recruitment for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Natural Resources Police.

This recruitment will be used to fill current vacancies for the position and may be used to fill future vacancies in the same classification/function.

Future vacancies may also be filled via other recruitments. The resulting eligible list will be maintained for one year.

LOCATION OF POSITION:

ANNAPOLIS, MD


POSITION DUTIES:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.


Experience:
None.


DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • One year of dispatching experience in a police/emergency) services environment utilizing a CAD (computer aided dispatch) system.
  • One year of experience in a multifaceted work environment using data entry keyboard functions and a multiline telephone system.
  • A combination of one year of emergency dispatch training, education and/or experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Employees in this classification will be required to provide a telephone number at which they can be reached.
