What will you do with us

  • Consolidate, prepare and verify the technical accuracy of relevant technical specifications as a basis for creating exterior/interior design sketches
  • Develop missing relevant specifications, taking into account manufacturability, space requirements, ergonomics, legal requirements, KMG and modular scope
  • Advise designers on technical questions regarding the implementation of the design. Abstract the resulting sketches and tapes into technical concepts and compare them with the specifications
  • Develop leeway within the specifications to ensure design freedom
  • Identify and highlight potential conflicts of interest
  • Develop alternative concepts, package specifications and coordinate with departments
  • Create presentation materials using predefined standards

What we expect from you

  • Successfully completed studies as an engineer in the field of design/engineering or technician with several years of experience in body construction/overall vehicle packaging
  • Several years of professional experience in body construction, overall vehicle packaging or the construction of interior and/or exterior components
  • Excellent knowledge of the CAD system CATIA V5 and knowledge of Prisma
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Negotiation skills in German and English
