Luther Manor at River Oaks is a boutique-style assisted living Community nestled in a scenic wooded area overlooking the Milwaukee River.

With just 16 residents, you will be a part of a relaxed, close-knit team that feels a lot like family.

The ideal caregiver will be able to provide direct resident care according to the resident Individual Service Plan to ensure all of their needs are met.

They will model a team approach to accomplish the Luther Manor mission of providing excellent care and services to all of our residents.

WHAT DOES A RESIDENT CARE ASSISTANT/CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT DO AT LUTHER MANOR - RIVER OAKS:

Encourages and models a team approach to accomplish the Luther Manor Mission of providing excellent care and services to all customers
Follows state and federal regulations as outlined in the employee handbook, nursing policy/procedure manuals, human resources manual, and the resident bill of rights.
Reports all potential/actual safety hazards to the nurse in charge.
Provides direct resident care in accordance with their plan of care (ISP).
Maintains resident confidentiality.
Attends and participates in unit meetings and completes a minimum of 1215 hours of inservice annually per HFS 8
Communicates observed changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge.
Transports residents to daily appointments including the clinic and beauty shop.
Participates in resident activities as able to and makes self available to residents and staff.
Answers call lights in a timely manner
Established and maintains tact and effective communication with staff, residents, families, visitors, and volunteers.
Reads and follows caregiver notes to assist residents in providing personcentered attention to resident
Must have completed or the ability to complete the required CBRF training for caregiver staff.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Must have the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents in a variety of areas.
Must possess or have the ability to possess WI CBRF Certifications or be a Certified Nursing Assistant in WI
Must have the ability to speak to and hear residents and staff
Must have ability to read and write English.
Must have the mobility to spend 90% of the work shift standing and/or moving about the work area.
Must be able to push, pull or list 35 lbs
