    Description

    DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

    • The laboratory of Dr. David Watkins is seeking a skilled Post Doctoral Scientist interested in developing and testing vaccines, diagnostic tests, and drugs against viral diseases.
    • The position involves a variety of experiments including cell culture, bacterial cloning, PCR, and flow cytometry analysis.
    • This is a temporary/training role where the incumbent will plan and conduct research, analyze data, publish results, and represent the university at conferences.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Doctoral degree in a related discipline.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • High enthusiasm for learning new techniques.

    TYPICAL HIRING RANGE: Commensurate with experience.
