Forensic Scientist at CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology

Join our team as a Forensic Scientist at the CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T) and utilize your expertise to analyze identities and develop innovative solutions for challenging mission needs.

Operate state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to support mission requirements
Conduct cutting-edge research and develop new capabilities
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven
Collaborate with a team of experts

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for leveraging traditional forensic laboratory capabilities to identify ongoing mission requirements. It is essential to be detail-oriented, self-driven, creative, collaborative, and results-focused. Additionally, you must be physically present in the United States or its territories when submitting your resume via MyLINK.

Requirements:

Experience as a forensic professional and technical analyst
Formal training in a forensic discipline
Experience in an accredited forensic laboratory
Familiarity with forensic databases and standards
Current membership in professional organizations
Interest in applying technology to solve complex problems
Ability to write clear and concise text
Willingness to travel domestically and abroad

Education:

A bachelor's degree in fields like Chemistry, Physics, or related studies
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale
