General Warehouse Associates/ General Laborer

Warehouse location

  • 220 W. Stetson, Hemet, CA In same parking lot as McDonalds.
Pay range per hour - Depending upon experience.

Hours 7 am to 5 PM as needed, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays

Receives, stocks/stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products in accordance with company policy and procedures. Picking, packing and labeling. Operates pallet jack to push, pull, or move furnishings/products/merchandise, equipment, or materials.

Sort and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Will be required to assist with shipping, receiving, loading or unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing.

Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met, and that damaged merchandise is identified and noted.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform work independently or as a team to successfully complete the duties of the job satisfactorily.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals with attention to detail.

Three (3) months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move heavy weight items in excess of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
