This associate would primarily be responsible for working freight, daily tasks like price changes, helping customers, and other duties outlined below.


  • I take pride and demonstrate ownership of my area.
  • I provide customer service and recommendations.

  • I utilize the 5 steps of a tire sale to properly identify customers' needs for tires.
  • I utilize technology to review tires and comparisons for customers and make recommendations.
  • I explain to customers warranty road hazard and mileage warranties for tires.
  • Service order creation through the iPad.
  • Utilize internal and external sites to special order tires.
  • I create and schedule tire appointments.
  • I provide the customers their customer acknowledgement form (CAF).
  • I make tire warranty adjustments.
  • I perform the battery check using diagnostic equipment (testing) and analysis and exchange return procedures as needed.
  • I stock batteries utilizing the modular set and properly rotating based on manufacturer's date.
  • I down stack and bin batteries
  • I answer the phone with the proper etiquette and provide business operating hours, tire selling skills, product selling skills (batteries, wipers, oil/air filters and general merchandise) and provide service guidance and recommendations.
  • I manage customer flow, provide customer updates, and check in new customers.
  • I check out customers for general merchandise.
  • I process service orders, check out customers for services, provide full and final service order disclosure, and verify customer for service and key return.
  • I stage tires and bin tires for OPD.
  • I unload and stock tires.
  • I perform Vizpick in the back room.
  • I stock merchandise and work Top Stock.
  • I process merchandise protection (installing spider wrap on merchandise, securing designated merchandise to locked bins, and showcases).
  • I set modulars (sales floor, service area, tires, tire wall display, batteries, and 99 supplies etc.).
  • I am knowledgeable about ACC products and services such as synthetic requirement to conventional oil, AGM battery compared to a wet acid battery.
  • I am knowledgeable and trained about manufacturing standards on proper tire repair, service of aged tires, tire conditioning and two tire installation, and product for related services.
  • I understand all industries guides for vehicle service.
  • I process customer waste oil fill out the manifest (waste oil log).
  • I process battery returns.
  • I stock batteries.
  • I pull batteries.
  • I am a cashier when needed.
  • I stock tires.
  • I pull tires.
  • I perform RFID scanning when needed.
  • I perform Vizpick of the backroom when needed.
  • I take care of wheel weights.
  • I take crushed oil filters to the used oil filter bin for disposal.
  • I stock the service modular.
  • I stock oil filters in the service area.
  • I stock oil.
  • I stock the 99supply modular.
  • I stock bay wiper blades.
  • I perform opening and closing procedures:

  • Build outside tire display feature.
  • Disposing of any leftover used tires.
  • Disposing any leftover used batteries.
  • Take out trash.
  • Closing procedures:
  • Turn off air compressor.
  • Removal of outside tire features.
  • Close bay doors.
  • Dispose of used batteries.
  • Processing leaking batteries.
  • Utilizing PPE.
  • Place leaking battery in bag with baking soda.
  • Place on a spill containment pallet.
  • Dispose of used tires.
  • Take out trash.
  • Sweeping of the bay.
  • Scrubbing with water the lower bay.
  • Cleaning the ACC restroom.
  • Wipe down the service iPad.
  • Ensure all iPads are plugged into a charging cable.
  • Ensure proper placement of all tools.
  • Disposing of customer waste oil (DIY).

Pay:
$17.00 per hour
