    We are looking for a local but virtual Accounting Manager to help support growth. The position is mostly virtual with occasional in-office team/client meetings. The accounting manager role will encompass full-service small business accounting functions. The accounting manager will work with multiple clients, building trust and rapport mainly through email and phone communication.

    Responsibilities

    Bookkeeping, month-end journal entries, preparation of compilations and financial statements in accordance with GAAP

    Review and manage work done by accounting and bookkeeping direct reports

    Prepare annual forecasts and budgets with clients

    Assist with higher level advisory business consulting and questions

    Skills

    7+ years of real world accounting experience

    The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

    Experience with small business bookkeeping and accounting

    Experience with QBO and/or Xero

    Excellent organization and communication skills

    Willing to hop on a call with a client when needed

    A team player willing and open to work in a collaborative virtual environment and enjoys pitching in thoughts and ideas regularly

    From $92,000.00 per year
