Incumbent will provide domestic and delinquent intake services, and juvenile probation and parole supervision.

Will also provide effective interventions and services for competency development and accountability to promote juvenile behavioral change and public safety.


Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and/or experience of the criminal justice system to include court proceedings

  • Knowledge of interviewing and counseling techniques
  • Knowledge and ability to assess needs and to develop case plans
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing including the creation of written reports
  • Knowledge and ability to identify community resources and human service agencies to support families.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Word
  • A valid driver's license is required or the ability to obtain by the date of hire

Additional Considerations

  • Preferred requirements include the following:
  • Experience working with juveniles and their families.
  • Experience with community programming
