Responsibilities:


  • Creating request documents, primarily specifications, special tools, and fixtures for forming and bending systems and automation
  • Technical support during project and launch phases
  • Analyzing and proposing solutions for manufacturing problems
  • Conducting feasibility analyses based on CAD data and product drawings, and deriving action plans for necessary test series
  • Ensuring quality requirements and standards for Waldaschaff Automotive GmbH
  • Developing tool concepts for new requests
  • Managing projects from a tooling perspective
  • Continuously improving lead times and quality
  • Implementing improvement measures and cost savings
  • Assisting in analyzing and resolving customer complaints
  • Supporting maintenance with toolingrelated issues
  • Leading specialized project teams

Profile:


  • Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic with a focus on mechanical and plant engineering, or a comparable bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in tooling, at least six to eight years
  • Indepth knowledge of requirements in the automotive industry
  • Experience in tool design
